Free Crafting and sewing stuff

MontagueCenterMan Hello Seamstresses and craft people. My better half has an amazing array of sewing and crafting materials that have just passed their expiration date on the porch. They were allegedly due to go to JoAnnes Fabrics and Crafts (donated to the employees there, my honey used to work there) but never seemed to quite make it. So i am offering anyone a chance to take some or all of it before it gets 'donated' to the landfill. It must be good stuff, because she wouldnt let me throw it out for two months. Poppa says 'nuff. If you live in Montague center and would like to take a look at it and/or believe you have a home for such items, please call me at 413-658-7579. Thank you. Also, a piano in good shape needs some tuning. OR email me at lennykahle@gmail.com

for sale: various men’s shoes, size 11

JTHK As I prepare for a trip, I realized just how many pairs of shoes, sneakers, and boots I have. In an attempt to downsize and make the best use of what I typically wear, I'm interested in selling a few pairs of size 11 men's footwear. I have never had any kind of problem with my feet so the items are clean and, in this situation, barely worn (I wouldn't sell items that WERE very worn). For example, I have a pair of blue Adidas Samba that were worn once, a pair of limited release (they do that for sneakers?) red Puma high-tops, a pair of nice, Italian-leather cognac-colored lace dress shoes and a few others. If you're interested, I think it'd be best to come up to the house and have a look-see. Please send me a message if you're interested.

Oh, and I also have two pairs of run-flat tires, as well: 4 studded snows (16") and 4 summer touring (17").

Best,
Jonathan

Seeking electrician

I would highly recommend Scott Bergeron. His company Bergeron Electrical Services is out of Southampton but he lives in Sunderland and I see his trucks up here all the time. They did a lot of work for us, removing old knob and tube wiring and bringing it up to code. They are really good at running new wire through walls and ceilings without doing any damage. Not sure what type of work you're looking to have done, but they are very experienced and professional, even the younger guys who were there part of the time. They got it all done in about 3 days and we thought the price was on target for the amount of work that was needed.

Seeking electrician

Hi all,

I am seeking an electrician who is professional, who works with homeowners rather than dictates impossible terms to them, who is reliable, courteous and affordable. If you've had good experiences with electiricans you've hired please let me know what worked and share their names. Thanks so much and happy winter.

Horse barn/stalls for rent

We have a beautiful barn in Montague Center with four matted horse stalls, three with paddocks that access to four acre field. Barn built in 2001. Lots of storage, heated tack room, indoor and outdoor lighting, electric fencing, year round water, and private driveway with room to turn a horse trailer. Access to trails right next door. Peaceful setting with views of Mt. Toby.

This is a rough, or semi -rough board situation. Our barn needs animals! Call us if you think this might be a match for you and let's talk!

Looking for pellets by the bag

I believe the Farmers Exchange/Agway has some by the bag (I can't recall if Aubuchon does too).

Looking for pellets by the bag

JTHK Mik,

Amherst Farmer's Supply, Home Depot, Greenfield Farmer's Cooperative. I prefer Ambiance sold by Amherst Farmer's Supply because they appear to be a far superior pellet -- at least this season. Last season, Cubex was pretty good.

Best,
Jonathan

Mark1 Out in front of 24 Center Street. Works fine - goes up, down, arms adjust, back adjusts. No room in the house for it. Get it while you can.

HP Officejet J6480 - FREE

Laserjet all-in-one (printer/scanner/copier/fax). I was changing the cartridge and the hinge on the cover broke, so now it doesn't close properly (and hence won't work). I couldn't figure it out how to fix it, but then hardware is not my thing, and if you'd like to try it's yours. It worked great on Windows XP, but was a little quirky on Windows 7 64-bit; that may have been because I connected it using a USB cable -- I've got a 6500 now connected via ethernet, and it works like a charm.

Box, manuals, software all included, plus two new cartridges -- color in the printer, black still in the box. Contact me privately -- first come, first served.

Quilting help wanted

Is there anyone in town who is an experienced quilter who would be willing to quilt and bind a large bed quilt for me? How much would it cost if I provided the quilt top, batting, backing and binding fabric, and any other supplies?
