Cookie Dough Sale

Girl Scout cookies are great, but what could be better than scooping cookie dough onto a sheet and popping it into the oven. Umm, the anticipation as the kitchen fills with warmth and the scent of fresh baked cookies while jogging memories of mom’s home baked goodies.

Our cub scout pack is currently selling frozen cookie dough in many recipes. For more information and to place a prepaid order, please contact Dawn at 413-863-8675.

We look forward to your support and enjoyment.

Climbing Wall At Unity Park

Cub Scouts Do Things and Go Places
Cub Scouting means "doing." You have lots to do as a Cub Scout—crafts, games, sports, songs, stories, and puzzles, to name a few things. Much of the fun happens right in the den and pack. The den usually meets every week, and the pack meets once a month all year long. At den meetings and pack meetings, Cub Scouts do different things for fun and learning.
Cub Scouts also go to events like the annual blue and gold banquet, field contests, and derbies such as the pinewood derby. They go on field trips. They go camping and have other kinds of outdoor adventures. They take part in community events. Cub Scouts do all sorts of exciting stuff! Whatever it is that you enjoy, you’ll have a chance to do it in Cub Scouting.
We would like to invite you to join us to one of the thing we like to do. The CSR climbing wall is a favorite with all scouts - Cubs and Boy Scouts alike!
Climbing the thirty-two foot tall wall is attainable by the novice while still presenting a challenge to the most experienced of climbers.

Thank you to all the parents who joined us with their sons last night. Welcome to Henry, Jimmy, Patrick, and Stone. We’re so happy you have joined Cub Scout Pack 17. Thank you Ralph, we’re excited to have you become a new leader.

We have a wonderful year planned. I know you will all fun. We are looking forward to Safety Month in October, Halloween celebrations (party and hay ride), a holiday party, sledding, fishing, biking, hiking, bowling, camping, and a big Blue and Gold celebration. Each month will bring a new theme with lots to learn and share with our families.

Remember to pick up your handbooks and begin learning the Cub Scout Oath and Law.

Happy Scouting,

Akela
