Experimental writing group

Tired of other people telling you how to write? This group is for people who want to express themselves without being criticized or forced to explain everything they have to say. The experimental writing group is an informal, interactive, confidential and 100% judgment-free space to let words fly. We begin each meeting with some light stretching, refreshments and a free writing exercise. From there, we explore and discuss various writing prompts, word games and reading selections. We believe that everyone has something to say, and that there is no such thing as a "bad" writer. The group commits to keeping all feedback positive and everything said confidential. For those who want to participate, but do not feel comfortable sharing their work, reading aloud is always optional. Come make new friends, get a snack, and explore new avenues of self expression! All genres and skill levels welcome.

Meets every Wednesday from 6-7:30pm.
