Martin Grout and Old Pictures
I have a Rand atlas only about 10 yrs old and the cover has a map with Millers Falls called Grout’s Corner. I’ve heard from a couple old timers that the towwn was originaly in the area of Grouts Circle.

Martin Grout and Old Pictures
A couple of questions:
Where was Martin Grout’s first house built? I can’t find the location on-line. What is repeated is "its location at the juncture of major railroads and abundant water power made it the perfect place to establish mills." There is a Grout Circle close to the main drag area, but is that a street named in honor of the old village name or does it have relevance?
Also, are there old photos / drawings out there of what is now South Prospect St? Looking for 1889 and later.
