School Vacation week library programs

Looking for free children's programs during school vacation week? The Montague Public Libraries offer a wide selection. All week the Art-To-Go box will be in the children's room of the Carnegie Library. The box contains kits with all of the pieces for a variety of projects. Monday, April 18th, the libraries are closed for Patriots' Day. Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Carnegie Library is Beads and Crafts. Children of all ages are invited to get crafty with Ruth with beads and other fun projects. The Millers Falls Library Club is Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. It is for children of all ages with Linda and this week will feature turtles. It includes a turtle story and facts, crafts, and snack. Story Hour is Wednesday, April 20th at 10:15 at the Carnegie Library. Young children and their families are invited to join Ruth for rabbit stories, crafts, songs, and a snack. Ella, a live Holland Lop bunny, will be a special guest. Thursday morning at 10 a.m. is Music and Movement for young children at the Montague Center Library. Laurie Davidson and Tom Carroll perform a wide variety of music for this very popular series. The Carnegie Library, 863-3214, will be open Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday 1 - 8 p.m., Thursday 1 - 5 p.m., and Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Millers Falls Library, 659-3801, will be open 2 - 5 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. The Montague Center Library, 367-2852, will be open 2 - 5 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
