The best part is that, from what I've read, these private contractors who are replacing military personnel -- without any of the inconvenient "codes of conduct" that the military abides by -- are paid several times what our service members are paid. Apparently, many of them are ex-service people, and why not? You get paid more, and you don't have as many rules to follow.

Is this a great country or what? ;-)
