Me too. I play fiddle and am always interested in getting together to jam. I know lots of tunes, but have difficulty coming up with them without prompting. I'm probably about intermediate.
So count me in!
Thanks for responding about the old time jam. You are the first person to respond to the note. I don't have a time, place or frequency to do this thing. I thought once enough of us showed interest we could decide amongst ourselves. I was thinking it would be great to be able to use the Montague Grange. I don't know if it would be free or not at this point but I plan on checking into that part. That's great that you can round up a fiddle or two. I'll stay in touch after giving more people time to respond and check on Grange availability.
VERY interested. I play OT guitar (intermediate level on straight-ahead tunes). I could possibly stir up a fiddler or two. Do you have an evening in mind already? How often? - Susan, Turners Falls
Looking to start an old time music (not bluegrasss) jam. Hopefully there will be intermediate players like me that are interested along with skilled players. I was thinking of a regular get together if possible at the Montague Grange. I am working on my clawhammer skills any other banjos, fiddles, guitars, bases, etc. out there in need of jam time?
