PUBLIC APOLOGY
"And to blame all the current problems on Jeff is just plain wrong." Let me stop you right there. I NEVER said that Jeff Singleton is responsible for all the current problems on the School Committee. Don't put words in my mouth as if I have some sort of ax to grind against him. HE is the only one on the current committee (besides Jen Waldron) who is running for re-election. If any other current members who have (in my opinion) been a hindrance or had caused any issues to obstruct the process of doing business, then I'd be just as outspoken.
He is not some sort of fiscal Superman that operated in a vacuum. The committee will not collapse in on itself or get sucked into a black hole if this man is not re-elected. Give credit where credit is due, good AND BAD. Being an effective member of the school committee is not solely based on fiscal issues like some sort of one trick pony. Some don't realize that.
