This district is a joke

OK..enough. Actually, what's embarrassing is throwing around unsubstantiated accusations. You REALLY need to check your facts. To be a LICENSED teacher you MUST possess a high school diploma or GED. You don't have to believe me, check the department of education's website. Now SUBSTITUTE teaching is a different subject. Before you spout false information, you might AGAIN check the department of education's website to see what their requirements are. If the school is in violation, I ASSUME you've reported it to the authorities and/or the department of education, no? I found it hard to believe any of your other claims after this. Rampant racism? You can't be talking about the one unsubstantiated claim this year. THAT is not rampant. The bingo for books incident you cited...6th grader? Montague Elementary School is a PK to FIFTH grade. Everything else is just noise and clutter. If you have such a problem with the school district and the school committee and you are not getting any satisfaction (to your liking) pull your kid out and choice him/her/them. If teachers are constantly abusing the kids, why haven't we seen daily visits from the police? I'm willing to bet that the Greenfield Recorder would jump at ANY chance to paint the school in a not so flattering light so these claims are just that, claims. Since you have no concept of employment agreements let me enlighten you. The Superintendents you listed served out their contracts. Unless you have some inside information that the rest of us are not privy to then you have no idea why they left. Yes, the district has it's issues, but if is such a joke to you, you have PLENTY of other options. There is quality education to be had here, sorry for you if you can't see that. As for 'Google', I googled 'bullying incidents at Montague Elementary School' and got...wait for it...ONE story. As you are so informed please enlighten us about the others that are so prominently featured in the news.
