LEGO at Carnegie Library

Know any creative young people who LOVE to build with LEGO? We have a big collection of library LEGO thanks to donations over the years.

Every Wednesday, 3:00-4:30, children and teens can come build at the Carnegie Library. DUPLO blocks are available for our youngest patrons.

Good Food Workshop

Join us for this workshop, the first in a 3-part series at the Millers Falls Library. Getting the Most Out of Your Food Budget.

Joon will lead a workshop on the art of searching for deals, hunting for bargains and cutting coupons to stretch your family’s food dollars. At the Millers Falls Branch library, 23 Bridge St. Millers Falls. These workshops were made possible thanks to a grant from the Association for Rural & Small Libraries

Youth Advisory Meeting

Youth Advisory Committee (ages 11-16) meetings happen monthly, on the 4th Friday, 4:00-4:45pm at the Carnegie Library. Snacks will be provided.

Do you have ideas and suggestions for teen library programming? Do you want to meet new friends and help improve our library at the same time? Do you have suggestions about additions to our book and media collections? If so, we would love to have you join us and have your voice heard at your library!

Teen Book Club Kick-Off

Teens are invited to The Brick House for a Montague Libraries sponsored event that launches the ALA Great Stories Club grant. Free Sci-Fi books and lunch!

Pick up copies of the books. Find out about how the GSC will work and get info about upcoming dates and locations. Lunch will be served!

The books — “Victories Greater Than Death” by Charlie Jane Anders; “Across a Field of Starlight” by Blue Delliquanti; “The Marrow Thieves” by Cherie Dimaline; “The Sound of Stars” by Alechia Dow.

The Great Stories Club asks: How can we imagine and dream of our shared futures together, alongside each other, in order to create better tomorrows?

The GSC is made possible by a grant from the American Library Association.
