Try Flow Yoga on Tuesdays at 5:30PM right here in town at The Common Hall.

This on-going class offers a rejuvenating journey through breathing exercises, energizing posture sequences, soulful reflection, and deep relaxation. Through continuous practice you will build strength, flexibility and stamina, increasing overall vitality, and cultivating serenity. This is a mixed level class. Some prior yoga experience will benefit. Simply drop-in, or sign up for a bundle of classes.

’Flow’ or Vinyasa is a dynamic style of Yoga which aligns each movement with breath and links all postures in a smoothly orchestrated continuous flow. Detailed instructions and plenty of variations offered for different abilities and levels help create a safe and supportive environment in which all participants will make progress.

Hello everyone,

I am excited to offer a new gentle morning Yoga class: Yoga for Strength and Stress Relief. We begin next week, on November 8th at the Montague Common Hall.

Thursdays 9:15 - 10:30 AM

This class will benefit complete beginners and advancing yogis alike. We will focus on building core strength, as well as on unwinding physical and mental tension and overwhelm. No experience or equipment necessary.

HOW TO REGISTER
You can drop-in, or buy a very flexible bundle of classes. http://www.sunessenceyoga.com/buy-yoga-classes/

Since this is a new class and will run on a trial basis, by buying a bundle of classes, you can show your commitment and ensure longevity of the class. The bundles will work for both the Thursday AM and for the Tuesday 5:30PM Flow classes (as well as for Saturday classes in Amherst). If you already purchased classes - they will work for this one.

Sat Dance Cancelled: Snow

(This is a recurring event which starts on this date and goes through Sun 3/17/2019 )

No dance tonight, because of the impending snow. Check out the next dance on February 16th!

The Montague Square Dance is a community event that generally happens on the first Saturday of every month from October to May, 7-10 PM. We feature local and regional musicians playing mostly Southern-style Old-Time stringband music, and callers from around New England who call both traditional Southern and traditional New England square dances. Depending on the night, there will also be waltzes and sometimes polkas, honky-tonk or Cajun songs for two-stepping, music just for fun, etc. All the dances are taught and no experience is necessary. There are often informal jams in the basement during the dance, and occasionally there are square-dance calling workshops and other things like that.
We aim to provide a good time for all different sorts of people, young and old, and carry on the tradition of people making and enjoying their own entertainment.
The cover charge for the dances is usually $5-10 sliding scale, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds
