My partner and I are looking for a house or apartment to rent for September 1. I would prefer to stay in or near Montague Center, but would also be open to the right place some distance south of here, say in Leverett, Sunderland, or even Amherst. (Not wanting to move much north of the Montague Center/Lake Pleasant area.) We are looking for a space with 2+ bedrooms, an opportunity to garden, and an openness to a dog.

I am 28 and work as a mentor in kids' nature programs. I am going back to school at Hampshire College this fall to study ecology and storytelling. My partner is 33 and sort of a jack of all trades. He currently works for UMass dining services but is trying to get back into tech/computer work. We are both passionate about gardening, permaculture and the outdoors in general. We live a quiet, laid-back lifestyle, and cherish community connections. We both currently live in Montague Center, but separately, and are looking to move in together. (We are in a long-term relationship and have lived together in the past.) We can provide good references if you would like.
