I've put together an herbal formula that I use for my patients during the spring/summer and fall. This formula is meant not to 100% prevent Lyme disease, but more to increase your immune system so if you are bitten by a disease carrying tick, your body will do a better job at fighting it off.
I would be more than happy to talk with anyone about the herbs.
I dispense an 8 ounce bottle per person, and dose it at 2 dropperrfuls per day. At that dose, an 8 ounce bottle should last through the summer/spring and fall (witha one month hiatus in July).
I alson have a tick-bite protocol on my website, valleynaturopathic.com.
It just walks you through the steps of taking off the tick, where to send it to, and what to do next.
I have an event at the church tonight and am trying to get a hold of Reverend Barbara from the Montague Congregational Church. If anyone has her number, can you e mail me please? Thank you!
Or if there is another church member who is charge of opening the church for events, that contact would be dandy as well.

One World Meditations - Wednesday, March 31st - and every Wednesday
Dear Friends,
I'd like to share 'One World, One Heart' which is a beautiful new video on YouTube about the One World Meditations. You can find it on the lightomega12 channel (enter 'lightomega12' in the YouTube search box.)
I'd also like to share the following invitation:
Dear Ones,
We welcome you to this global effort to bring light and healing to the Earth. Please join us and the Realms of Light to strengthen the planetary network of light and participate most fully in individual and collective healing. This meditation not only anchors light for the Earth, but also within your own body, mind, heart, and spirit.
The meditation is thirty minutes long and you may also join us via Skype as we sit together at Light Omega with an online presence from around the world. Please visit www.oneworldmeditations.org for more information and to check the time within your time zone, sign our mailing list, and know that what can be accomplished when we sit together as one is vast and powerful as an effective means of blessing the Earth.

Is there any official invite to the Halloween event on the Montague Center Common for individuals, or will this tradition always remain a word-of-mouth event geared toward organizations? We took part in the festivities the last two years, setting up a table in an empty spot, and really enjoyed seeing hundreds of trick or treaters instead of the 10 or 12 who come by our house in Lake P.
For example, I would like to know what time the event starts and ends, and whether its still ok to set up in front of the Congregational Church or in another empty spot like we did on previous years. Thanks!

The Montague Farm Zendo Puppeteers are performing a free shadow puppet show upstairs at the Maezumi Institute (177 Ripley Road off W. Chestnut Hill in Montague) on Sunday, Sept 20 at 7pm.
During this Year of the Ox, we have been performing the tale, "The Taming of the Ox," every few months, each time using different puppetry and story techniques. This will be our third version, which weaves together 5 personal interpretations of the story.
Please join us for this evening of shadow puppets and illuminated beings, low tech-spectacles of light, overhead projections, and other mesmerizing sights, all accompanied by live music!
The performance will last about 25 minutes and is suitable for all ages, though one of the narrative threads is about a threatened suicide, told in the poetic language of Wendell Berry.
For those who are interested in seeing videos of our two earlier puppet shows, please follow these links: Version 1:
