This is of particular interest to me, because I lived for 14 years in Albuquerque and have been to the area in question (NW corner of New Mexico) many times. The situation there has similarities to Massachusetts except:
* There is no pretense I can see about using the output to benefit the indigenous people (in our case, keeping gas in Mass).
* The protect-the-monument folks appear willing to push the adverse impact just far enough to drop squarely on the Dineh (in our case, the TGP is bad whether it goes through our specific towns or not)
* The prospect of jobs, few as there will be, are unlikely to go to locals
Small consolation that we are not the only affected people.
