Mindful Movement With Ms. Sue Video
https://youtu.be/pJESjCt8LmU

"Today's theme is about our home, The Earth!! The story is about the Earth and how it is a part of all of us! We need to take care of her, treat her well and make sure we protect the place we all call home! We have fun with many yoga poses through out the story! Our Mini-Thoughts are about the clouds and the trees. I have a brand new heart shape rock big one & small one! What are you grateful for today? And as a special treat Tyson the rescue pup makes a bit of appearance in the beginning :) Enjoy and have a beautiful day!"

STEP 2: Wait for confirmation that your items are ready for pick-up
You will be notified via email or phone when your hold is ready.

Wait times for holds placed for items owned by other libraries are currently longer than usual. We strongly suggest that you limit holds to items that are currently in our buildings to reduce wait times while the delivery service is unavailable.

STEP 3: Schedule your curbside pick-up appointment

Before you can pick up items that you’ve been notified are ready, you need to schedule a specific time slot. Call the library (phone numbers for each branch listed above) to schedule your pickup time.
This is required to pick up your items. No items will be available for pickup without a scheduled appointment.

Due to limited staffing, holds may not be available until the next day the library is open.

STEP 4: Pick up your items

After confirming your time slot, arrive at your pickup location sometime within that period, and you will find your items outside the library, checked out and ready to be picked up.
Holds will be left in labeled paper bags by the staff door, behind the library.

Please put any returns either in our book drops or the bins provided where you pick-up holds.

Returns will be quarantined for 3 days before being checked in. This means that items will remain on your account until we check them in. Due dates have been extended and in most cases fines will be waived.

Please do not attempt to enter buildings or approach staff to receive your items.

Since delivery service to and from other libraries is currently not available we ask that you only return items that are owned by the Montague Public Libraries.

Rare And Unique Armored Mud Ball Presentation Carnegie Library
There will be a presentation ceremony for a rare and unique armored mud ball specimen at 2 pm, Monday, May 14th, to the Carnegie Library, by GGC Geology Professor Richard Little, with Library Director Linda Hickman. The resources of the Carnegie Library in Turners Falls will also be highlighted. The armored mud balls will be housed in the second floor museum of the library, joining rocks and minerals both local and from around the world.

There are only a few world locations where armored mud balls are found, and they are in bedrock and not able to be moved or removed. The Turners Falls specimens were from a now-abandoned local quarry, so the rocks were already cut to manageable size. Some of these rocks made up the Old Red Bridge suspension cable anchors and samples can be seen along the Connecticut River in Gill and also Unity Park, Turners Falls. Specimens from this now-dismantled Red Bridge cable anchor also can be seen in the new Geo Path, a part of the Outdoor Learning Laboratory at the south end of the Main Building of Greenfield Community College.
