Congrats to Greg Garrison

Congratulations to Greg Garrison for winning the Local Solar Installer contract for the Town of Montague! Woohoo Greg! I was pulling for you, buddy.

Exciting news that many of you have been waiting for---the installer review team has chosen local solar installer, Northeast Solar Design Associates, for Solarize Montague!

I could not be more pleased to have Northeast Solar as a local partner to bring solar electric (also called photovoltaics or "PV") to our community. With approximately 80 people from all five villages of Montague expressing excitement about lower cost solar and signing up for PV site assessments, the team of Solarize Montague volunteers and collaborators is ready to work together with Northeast Solar right out of the gate.

I'm confident that Northeast Solar, with long-time Montague resident, Greg Garrison at the helm, will be a terrific teammate. Their staff is already gearing up to start site assessments for the first 80 people who have signed up.

Greg has been involved in town committees and events for years and also shares a deep commitment to renewable energy. He is a seasoned veteran in the PV field, and his company serves only nearby communities. I'm excited that the Solarize Montague program will have the opportunity to work with such an excellent, local partner to put us on the map as a truly green community.

Greg will be at the Mutton & Mead Festival tomorrow and Sunday from 2:30pm to 5:30pm, at the Solarize Montague table en route to the festival entry gate. You can talk with us on your way in or out of the festivities. We'll be able to chat about costs and very soon will have that information to distribute.
