Abstract painter
My work investigates the condition of embodiment: in particular, the contradictions inherent in our human experience as beings made of sensate, disintegrating matter. I seek to discern the conduits and attitudes that support the free movement of energy through the body, and those which result in congestion, entanglement and dis-ease. My paintings are a working-out of these two divergent ways of being. They chart a pathway to wholeness.
